“Watch out! Don’t do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven.
Matthew 6:1 –
It is far better to receive a reward from our heavenly Father than it is to brag and receive public admiration. In this current age, technology has emerged as a front runner for most communication. It is easy to chase the likes, the comments the admiration on social media.
As children of God, we are called to humility and to keep ourselves humble before the Lord.
Dear Lord as this day comes to an end. I ask Father to examine my heart, where there is pride remove that from me. Teach me Holy Spirit, to do good deeds, in a way that glorifies You. Amen
