But thank God! He has made us his captives and continues to lead us along in Christ’s triumphal procession. Now he uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere, like a sweet perfume.
2 CORINTHIANS 2:14 —
God has called us to be a sweet sweet fragrance to His people, so that they may have the knowledge of Jesus Christ. That they can know the gentle Jesus who came not that He may reign over the world, but that He could save it.
Remind us Father that by following your example we can love your people more effectively, softly rather than fiercely.
Dear Lord, thank you that we have tasted the nectar of your love for us. Remind us Father that by following your example we can love your people more effectively, softly rather than fiercely. That the soft whisper of Your Holy Spirit is a sweet fragrant aroma of love, wisdom, mercy, and Grace. Amen.
