Galatians 2:20 encapsulates a profound truth: “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” This verse speaks to the transformative power of Christ’s sacrifice, reminding us that our lives are now intertwined with His, and our purpose is found in Him.
Heavenly Father, as I contemplate Galatians 2:20, I am reminded of the incredible exchange that took place at the cross. My old self has been crucified with Christ, and a new life has emerged in His resurrection.
Lord, help me live by faith in the Son of God, trusting in His love and sacrifice. May my actions and thoughts be a reflection of His grace and truth. I surrender my desires and plans, seeking Your will above all else. I pray for Your strength to daily crucify my selfish desires and live in the freedom of Your love. Let Christ’s life within me shine forth, impacting those I interact with and bringing glory to Your name.
Thank You, Father, for the immeasurable gift of Christ’s presence in my life. I place my trust in You and ask for the wisdom to align my life with Your purposes. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
