Do Not Sing Your Own Praise

18 Proverbs 272 Let someone else praise you and not your own mouth an outsider and not your own lips

Morning beautiful Ladies, I trust that your day will be marvellously filled with the joy and the love of the Lord.

Let someone else praise you, and not your own mouth; an outsider, and not your own lips.

– Proverbs 27:2

Bragging is not a good taste in anyone’s mouth and leaves people with the wrong opinion about you. This verse is not only to help you in your social circles but also to keep you from developing pride that makes us arrogant and selfish to the needs of the people around us.

Don’t call attention to yourself; by making sure everyone knows about your accolades or how significant of a person you are. Allow others to do that for you. it will leave a sweet aroma in the room and you will be more admired than doing it yourself.

Dear Lord, thank you that Your word guides in all aspects of our lives so that we will always know the heartthrob of our Lord and Saviour.
