Hey ladies, this is the best way to end this topic “Breath of Life: Discovering God’s Presence in Every Exhale”. Here I sit and I am excited when I think of what we will share next. But I don’t want to jump too far ahead as this closing is truly God inspired and my cup is running over when I feel how much of Jesus is inside of me, and how much He has redeemed me of.

We are once more—sharing, receiving, and anchoring ourselves in the presence of our Heavenly Father. When stillness meets revelation, this sacred moment is like a gentle exhale—a divine breath that fills our souls. Today, I invite you to explore a profound truth: the Breath of Redemption. Amidst life’s struggles and victories, this breath whispers hope, renewal, and healing. It’s the very essence of God’s grace, enfolding us in His love: the Breath of Redemption.

In the quiet moments of my life here on the boat, I have often reflected on the immense love and grace of Jesus Christ our Savior. Today, I want to share some of those reflections in a message about the Breath of Redemption—a divine breath that brings new life, healing, and hope to our weary souls.

Redemption Defined

Redemption means to reclaim something that was originally ours but became lost. It’s like purchasing back a precious possession at a cost. In our case, God redeemed us through the precious blood of Jesus, His Son. First Peter 1:18-19 tells us, “Knowing that it is not with corruptible things, with silver and gold that you were redeemed…but with precious blood, as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot, the blood of Christ.” Through Christ’s sacrifice, the barrier of sin between us and God has been removed.

Take a moment to breathe deeply. With each breath, remember that you are inhaling the life-giving presence of God.

The Breath of Life:

From the very beginning, God’s breath has been a source of life and power. In Genesis 2:7, we read, “Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” This breath is more than just air; it is the life-giving force of God Himself. It signifies our creation and our purpose, reminding us that we are intricately made and deeply loved by our Creator.

The Breath of Redemption:

Our journey through life is marred by sin and brokenness, but the Breath of Redemption offers a path to restoration. In Ezekiel 37:5-6, God speaks to the dry bones: “This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.” This prophetic vision points to the power of God’s redemptive breath, which can revive even the most lifeless and hopeless situations.

Redemption

Jesus, Our Redeemer:

Jesus Christ embodies the ultimate Breath of Redemption. Through His sacrifice on the cross, He offers us forgiveness, healing, and eternal life. In John 20:22, after His resurrection, Jesus breathes on His disciples and says, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” This act signifies the imparting of the Holy Spirit, who empowers and guides us on our journey of faith. The Holy Spirit is the breath of God within us, continually working to transform and renew our hearts.

Personal Reflection:

Take a moment to breathe deeply. With each breath, remember that you are inhaling the life-giving presence of God. Reflect on the areas of your life that need His redeeming touch. Is there a relationship that needs healing? A past mistake that needs forgiveness? A dream that needs revival? Trust in the Breath of Redemption to bring new life to these areas.

As women anchored in hope, let us embrace the Breath of Redemption. Let it fill our hearts with peace, our minds with clarity, and our spirits with strength. May we walk confidently, knowing that God’s life-giving breath sustains us and His redeeming love transform us.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You with such a grateful heart, recognizing Your breath of life that sustains me and Your breath of redemption that renews me. Thank You for Your unwavering love and the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who offers me forgiveness, healing, and eternal life.

I invite You Holy Spirit to breathe anew into my life. Revive the areas of my heart that feel dry and weary. Heal my brokenness and restore my hope. Help me to fully embrace Your grace and walk in the freedom that only Your redemption can bring.

Guide each of us in our daily journey, and fill us with Your wisdom and strength. May we reflect Your love to those around us, becoming vessels of Your peace and joy.

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
