In 1 John 4 the word teaches us that we as a fallen people, do not have the ability to love like God loves, the perfect love with no blemish or spoil. But the spirit of God is working in each of us, teaching us how to love as Christ loves, that is God perfecting His perfect love in you and me.
No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
1 John 4:12
Dear Lord, Thank you that I can know that You are not giving up on me and because I can’t love with such adoration, such forgiveness, and acceptance never bringing up the past but always loving forward as you do. Your love will one day be complete in me, that I will go to heaven knowing that I stand with no blemish before you. Amen
God’s love is always loving forward.
