As a little girl, John 3:16 was the first verse I memorised. It became my go-to for everything and the word is so specific in this verse. How is it possible that we could be loved this much? God love us, He then gave his Son to rescue us. The reason God did this for you and me was that no one needed to ever be destroyed; by believing in Jesus Christ, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16 –
Dear Lord, Thank you that I may know that You are a good God, a God that chose me first, loved me first. That You prepared the road for me to follow you to heaven. Help me Father to always remember it’s not by any other power but that of Yours that I can ever be saved. Amen
