But now, this is what the Lord, your Creator says, O Jacob,
Isaiah 43:1-2
And He who formed you, O Israel, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you [from captivity];
I have called you by name; you are Mine! “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.
The word speaks here of a Father who knew His people intimately and had their best interest at heart. He knew that days would come that things would feel as if they were falling apart, and He wanted each one of us to know that He was on watch.
God is on watch, don’t let the fears of circumstances, mistakes, or hard roads allow you to feel overwhelmed.
Today’s declaration is a reminder to each of us that God knows us intimately and His path for us is sometimes hard but don’t fear what is ahead because your Father will not let you become so overwhelmed that you feel as if your life is over.
Declare your victory over this situation and stay standing.
Lord as we switch off our minds for the night please help us to baste in Your glory, wash over us with Your living water that we may feel and know that we will never be alone. Amen
