Morning Girls, here we are at the start of a new week. We are getting ready to cross the bay to Blue Water Bay so excited for a sail.
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.
– James 4:10
What does it mean to humble yourself before the Lord? There are 3 things we have to do.
- Confess your sins to the Father.
- Lay your burdens at the cross.
- Be willing to leave it at the cross.

When you confess your sins to the Lord, give it all over to Christ the good and the bad, all the things that have been burdening you. Then leave it there at the foot of the cross—release God’s hand to do good in Your life, to elevate you in His time.
Humbling yourself before God allows God to work in your life. Jesus will lift me up if I stay humble before Him.
Dear Lord, thank You for showing me that You are working all these things for my good. That humbling myself before you is for my good so that I can live a life free of these burdens that keep me chained to this world. Amen
