Good morning girls, how many times have you had one of those days where people have got so much to say about you? Cruel stuff, the kind that really hurt, it keeps you awake at night pondering the reason why people can be so cruel.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
John 1:5
BUT
When I read John 1:5 I realise we don’t need to retaliate. We don’t need to set the story straight or state our case in court. The word of God says all we need to do is continue shining because there is no darkness so strong that can put out our light.
Lord, thank you that we can remember in times of sadness that we just need to be a light in the world. There is nothing stronger than Your light that shines through us, and because of that. We can stay standing in the worst of times. Amen
