Reflection. Have you ever thought about what the word means? I looked in the dictionary and some of the synonyms are likeness, manifestation and a few more. One of the words God shared with me when I sat to write this post is the word echo.. wouldn’t it be awesome if we lived a life that echoed the very best that is God. That is what we want to live for, we want to visit the exotic places see countries we have only dreamed of but most of all we want to love like we have never loved before. We want to show compassion beyond what we as humans are capable of. We answered the call when God asked: “Who can I send?”, we said: “Lord send me.”
– Proverbs 27:19
As in water face reflects face, so the heart of man reflects the man..
Now we want to put that answer into action.
I sat one morning reflecting on this journey of our lives and I asked God “Lord how will they understand me?” and my Father answered “Gwennie don’t you realize yet, you are not going for them to know or understand you… You are going that people may know Me, that to get to me, they need to go through my son Jesus. I want your life to echo who I am, what I stand for who my spirit is, and why knowing me is to set yourself free… My girl, my path for you is to show me to the world!”
“I want you to go, go wash the feet of my people, those that are tired and weary, remind them what they were destined for. Don’t speak my child just love them and remind them that I have not forgotten them.”
