When David had to fight Goliath he stepped onto the battlefield alone. Everyone around him was gripped with fear at the giant that stood before them.
Sometimes we will fight our battles on our own.
We will need to rise above the fear that is in us, and combat the fight that is before us.

To men it will seem as though we fight alone, soaring the skies alone. But to us who know Christ, we understand that David never fought the giant on his own. He stood on that battlefield armed with the presence of God. He faced the giant because He knew He was not alone.
My prayer today is that we will face every battle knowing that the power of El Shaddai is with us. He is our Jehovah Jireh, our all present One.
