The saying goes that beauty comes from within. Being a woman of faith completely changes who you are. Having faith changes us into women with hope for the future. God moulds us into loving, caring beings who have empathy for our kids, our partners and those around us. We gain a purpose that without faith would be a futile existence.
But let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.
1 Peter 3:4 ESV
Isn’t it then awesome that the most beautiful thing about us as women of faith is just that – our faith? No one wants you to throw away your makeup ladies. It’s a fact of life that we all need a little touch-up from time to time, but we really should ask ourselves this:
“Can people see Jesus in me?”
Lord thank you for changing my life into a life of beauty. Let me be a reflection of you in everything I do, in every interaction with others. Let your beauty shine through me. Amen
