But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Matthew 6:33
We always hope for the material things when we bring this verse before God. Once your heart is right before God your will walks in the will of God, and the desires you thought you had changed.
It no longer becomes the things you thought you needed, but the things you long for more, like the presence of God.
In this verse, I always pray a selfish prayer.
Lord give me nothing but the blood of Jesus, your word says the tip of Your robe will be enough Father.. but I want more Lord, I want all of You, consume me with Your glory, wash me in Your presence. I adore you, my Father.
