It is hard to find the time to read the word of God with our rat race of a schedule. Everything always needs to be done now.
As woman we have so much on our shoulders that our eagerness to have everything perfect gets in the way of us moving forward.
When my children were younger I realized the only chance I would have to read the Bible is to find a spot with no distractions…
I do admit taking my coffee and bible and camping out in the bathroom… <grin>
Do whatever it takes girls, just do it. Even if you fake a bathroom break at work for 5 minutes, a moment of catching your breath, restoring your peace so that you get a bit of courage just to finish the day.
Dear Lord sometimes it’s hard to find You inside the business of life, show me ways Father of seeking You out when life/day gets a bit tough. Thank You Jesus.
