A Seed of Perseverance

I sit tonight typing this post, and I cannot help but think of all of you that are struggling to carry a cross that feels too hard to bear. When you get to read this, I would have forgotten the pain I feel right now, moving onto a new day with new pain and new obstacles.

As a follower of Christ, I realise that seeds of perseverance, planted during times of hardship, have the potential to grow into a resilient faith that can withstand the storms of life, emerging even stronger on the other side.

The word says “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” – James 1:2-4

I wonder many times how the burden of right now; can be of any benefit to me tomorrow, and again I realise my mind does not havethe capacity to understand the intricate process of a living and loving God, who has the power to turn this pain into His good.

“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.”

– Psalm 30:5

Father, I might not understand why I need to face this or why my family or friends are facing their demons, but I know that You love me, and You are working this out for my good. I don’t know the “WHY”, but I trust You who has every “why” I have ever asked in the palm of Your hand. I love You my King and I will wait on You! Amen
