We have finally come to the verse that says humility is the fear of the Lord. Many of us wonder what fearing God means: If we look at the verses we have gone through the last week or so we will find what all of this really means: what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8) fearing the Lord will give you wisdom (Psalm 111:10). Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. (James 4:10)

Fearing your Father means that his rules are what you live by? You don’t obey just because you love him, you obey to make him proud… The same is with our heavenly Father, we want to obey our Father because we want Him to know our love, our obedience and awe of who He is. The will of our heavenly Father is to direct our steps and show us how to live a Godly life.
Dear Lord, teach me to live my life fearing always that I am getting this wrong. Put a new fire within me that I will desire more than anything to please You and live according to Your purpose. I love You, Lord. Amen.
