The steadfast love of the Lord never eases; his mercies never come to an end;they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
Lamentations 3:22-23 –
It is an amazing feeling knowing that every day that I stand up, My Lord’s love is new, His grace is giving me this new day to stand up and try again. Leaving yesterday in my review mirror and continuing today on a new page. How many people in your life can forgive and forget so completely, the way God does.
Who comes back in the morning giving you an all is forgotten and forgiven badge. Who will say it’s ok, yesterday was a disaster but today we start again brand spanking new. No history to hurt you with. Your future is clear of all of that.
Let’s try one more time, this roller coaster called life.
Lord, as You have freely given, help me Father to accept Your gift of a new day, of Mercy, Grace, and Your Love. Help me to realize that you have forgiven me and my past is where it needs to be, behind me. Give me strength in this new day to choose You, to pause when it gets hard, and focus on You and what You have called me to be, Amen
