My Humility is not Weakness but Strength

Morning Ladies, I love this verse it has been a go-to verse in many times of my life. My grace is sufficient for you? This is God’s answer to Paul when Paul asks God to remove the issues that he was dealing with.

9But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

– 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

Then God goes further and He says inside your weakness my power is made perfect. This is such a great reminder of how on our bad days God is right in the middle, Paul says I delight in these things, and “these things” I don’t write lightly. Knowing that we are dealing, with finances, children, friends, bosses, colleagues, work lack of work, a roof over your head not to mention illness and pain. Imagine saying to the enemy bring it on because, in my weakness, God has made ME Strong!

To pass over the mistakes of others. To accept insults and injuries. To accept being slighted, forgotten and disliked. To be kind and gentle even under provocation. Never to stand on one’s dignity. To choose always the hardest.”

Dear Lord, thank you that we can know that when life happens and we are weak, You are strong. Amen
