Hey Ladies, August seems to be the month where SA is not sure what the temperature should be, it notches towards Spring but sneaks a winter day in every now and then. It’s those winter days that have me sitting behind my screen with tissues and cough medicine trying to do this post justice, with all this flue fog still coming through. If I at any time don’t make sense, can we blame it on August? <grin>
I am talking about Ephesians 1:4, I love how Paul talks about us being chosen long before the world started the plan was us first, all of this was to end with us renewed, restored in love back with our Father.
For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love

The author of this choice is God, the author of our start and our finish the Father who gives life. Long before he laid down the earth’s foundations. He had us in mind, we were the start of why the world was needed so that we would know the value that was placed on us. He had settled on us as the focus of His love, to be made whole and holy by his love. A gift is freely given.

Dear Lord, help us to remember why we are chosen for Your glory that in You every good and gracious thing lives. Unite us towards You Father that we may know Your love, Amen
