I became a child of God at a young age, but in my young adult life, I felt that Jesus had disappointed me and left me to the wolves. I felt that I didn’t need Him. almost as if my life was so bad with Jesus that it had to get better without Him.
What I quickly realised was that if not for Jesus, where would I have been. If I had not known Him I would not have been able to stay standing through some of the darkest moments of my life. The word of God does not try to convince us that the world will become peaches and cream once you turn to Jesus.
The more you live for Jesus the worst it will get.

Dear Lord, thank You that we can know that you have got our best interests at heart. That You know our inner most beings and you have chosen us first. Loved us first and died for us so that we can live. Amen
