I declare “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. 31 Honour her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

I love that this chapter is in the bible, not only does it show us how to bring up our daughters, but it teaches us how to bring up our sons, and the types of women they should want for themselves.
If we as women honor God with our lives and what we do daily, we will be the woman this mother was teaching her son. Valuing God, values who we are as women. Don’t let the need to please your friends, look a certain way, or love a certain man get in the way of who you are in Christ.
Heed the lessons of your own moms who prayed and brought you up on their knees. There is power in a praying woman.
Dear Lord, today I am reminded of the mighty woman in Christ who has prayed for me and carried me in their prayers. I think of my own mother who carried me in prayer and I can only say thank You Father for the praying mothers who bring up praying sons and daughters.
